Lo spettro di emissione generato dagli irradiatori infrarossi ceramici dipende dalla potenza nominale e rientra principalmente nella banda delle onde medie. Questo tipo di irradiatore infrarosso può essere dotato di una termocoppia incorporata all’interno del refrattario durante il processo produttivo. Relazionando la temperatura radiante rilevata dalla termocoppia con quella del materiale irraggiato, è possibile ottimizzare il rendimento energetico dosando la potenza erogata attraverso uno specifico sistema di controllo elettronico fornito.
